Description & Requirements

Our North America Employment & Compensation Practice Group provides clients with "one stop" domestic and international employment law counseling and litigation representation. We assist multinational companies with their international and domestic labor and employment issues, from expansion into or exit from new jurisdictions to deploying and managing a global workforce, to defending them in litigation in both state and federal court.

Baker McKenzie seeks an associate attorney for its domestic Labor & Employment Disputes practice to reside in our Chicago, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, or San Francisco office. The position will encompass a diverse range of employment matters including litigation of multijurisdictional class and collective actions and high stakes, complex disputes. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of employment litigation experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills, e.g., Law Review. Major top tier law firm experience in an employment litigation practice is preferred and a federal judicial clerkship is a plus. Must be admitted and a member in good standing of the California or Illinois Bar to apply. The candidate must have the ability to function smoothly in a fast-paced team environment with culturally diverse team members.

Please include a cover letter, transcripts, writing sample, and resume with your application.
