Description & Requirements

The Revenue Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end revenue portfolio for assigned Partner or Client Pods, including account set-up, billing, collections, eBilling activities, forecasting, and inventory management. The role works closely with attorneys, clients, and finance teams to support the full revenue lifecycle while helping drive operational excellence and service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to support billing and collections activities.
  • Manage the end-to-end revenue cycle, including matter set-up support, billing, collections, and inventory management.
  • Monitor client billing requirements, rate arrangements, fee caps, discounts, and matter budgets, ensuring compliance with client guidelines.
  • Coordinate the billing process from draft to final invoice, ensuring timely review, submission, and posting of invoices.
  • Support eBilling activities, including client onboarding, electronic invoice submission, troubleshooting, and payment follow-up.
  • Communicate directly with clients and attorneys regarding billing arrangements, collection matters, and account status updates.
  • Prepare and analyze billing, collections, accrual, and payment reports, identifying trends and recommending solutions.
  • Develop and maintain billing forecasts, collection projections, and portfolio reporting.
  • Monitor unapplied cash balances and collaborate with Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate payment application.
  • Act as a key contact within the Pod, providing guidance, knowledge sharing, and support to colleagues.
  • Train and mentor Pod team members while contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.


Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in billing, collections, revenue management, or revenue cycle operations.
  • Prior law firm or professional services experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, including billing, collections, matter management, and client financial processes.
  • Experience working with financial management systems; SAP and Intapp experience is desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including interaction with senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of issues, and drive resolutions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to high-quality service delivery.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Flexibility to support a London business-hours schedule
