Descripción y requisitos

Our North America Employment & Compensation Practice Group provides clients with “one stop” domestic and international employment law counseling and litigation representation. We assist multinational companies with their international and domestic labor and employment issues, from expansion into or exit from new jurisdictions to deploying and managing a global workforce, to defending them in litigation in both state and federal court. We “translate” the international landscape for in-house counsel and managers with global responsibilities. We lead cross-border and multi-disciplinary employment projects providing commercially practical support for our clients’ global operations.
 
Baker McKenzie seeks an associate attorney for its Global Employment & Labor Law practice. The position is focused on providing advice and counsel to multinational clients on US and cross-border employment issues, including transactions. The ideal candidate will have some employment counseling experience, and a background in international employment law. However, recent law graduates are welcome to apply.
 
Strong academic credentials from a top law school and excellent communication, analytical and writing skills are highly preferred as well as top tier law firm experience in an employment practice. The candidate must have the ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members. Additionally, candidates must be admitted and a member in good standing of the Bar in the state of employment. Candidates interested in working in the Bay Area or Chicago are welcome to apply. If a recent law graduate, the candidate must demonstrate they will be sitting for the bar exam.

For candidates living and working in our California (Bay Area) and Illinois (Chicago) offices, the annual salary range is between $225,000 – 235,000.
