Missions et profil recherché

Client Revenue Analyst will manage the account set up, billing, and collection arrangements, and inventory management for assigned Partner or Client portfolios. The role-holder will develop strong collaborative relationships with the attorneys throughout the full cycle of client invoicing and collections, as well as analyze inventory statistics, prepare supporting documentation, and make recommendations based on business strategies. The individual will work closely with management on the training and mentoring of the billing team members and take greater ownership and accountability over the billing process in accordance with the restructured Client Pods. The role will be a combination of the previous CRA and CSS roles.


Main responsibilities:


  • Establish, foster, and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure compliance with both attorney and client specifications; manage all billing and collections processes within their POD, from engagement to collections with tact, diplomacy, and effective negotiation skills
  • Verify rates with the rate analysts, review, and implement the outside counsel guidelines, monitor fee caps, tier discounts, and matter budgets; set up and monitor alerts; communicate with the Firm’s Billing & Intake Committee regarding discounts, write-downs, and write-offs 
  • Manage the draft to the final bill process with the Billing Analyst; ensure that billing attorneys receive accurate drafts and that they return their drafts in a timely manner; oversee submission of finalized bills/eBills in appropriate template format with Billing Analyst; adhere to the attorney and client specifications; and confirm the final bills have been submitted to the client and are posted in the accounting system
  • Collaborate with the eBilling Coordinators for new client account set-ups with eBilling requirements; update appropriate fields according to client billing guidelines; submit invoices electronically, take accountability for successful submission, and troubleshooting issues; and proactively follow-up regarding acceptance and prompt payment of eBills with eBilling team
  • Communicate directly with clients as requested or as established; concisely communicate arrangements with attorneys and clients on their matters; provide clients with requested information on any special billing and or collection arrangements; respond to all inquiries relating to same
  • Respond to inquiries relating to accruals, audits, and payment reports; recommend solutions based on billing trends relating to realization; and prepare ad hoc reports upon request
  • Prepare effective monthly billing and collections forecasts for assigned portfolios; maintain updated draft status report and collection projection tools; monitor billing and collection numbers daily 
  • Monitor the unapplied cash report; offer resolutions, and assist Accounts Receivable with accurate payment applications; keep partners updated on available, unapplied and trust funds and apply funds when needed
  • Establish effective back-up support processes (cross-training and knowledge transfer) to ensure seamless support for all portfolio matters 
  • Train and mentor POD team members and peers 
  • Liaise with end users related to the Procure-to-Pay process as well as Billing and POD members to ensure costs are added into Chrome River


Skills and experience:


  • A bachelor’s degree in financial management, accounting, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience working in a Professional Services organization is a plus
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in Finance Operations and/or Finance Shared Services
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other productivity tools
  • Able to take ownership of and resolve complex problems in a structured manner within a cross-functional environment
  • Able to influence, interact, and consult with senior leaders regarding finance processes, guidelines, and compliance
  • Able to network and collaborate with regional and global teams, acknowledging cultural, social, and academic diversity
  • A curious mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement of all aspects of Q2C, business partnering, and finance operations
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, change-oriented, dynamic environment

Pay Transparency 

  • This position is bonus eligible and includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) based on number of hours worked. 
  • The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $85000 to $97000 (annually) if located in an office in the state of X. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
