Missions et profil recherché
We are looking for a technically excellent and ambitious corporate lawyer with between 2 and 5 years’ PQE keen to take on a rewarding associate role within a leading Corporate team.
The role will include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Front-line support of deals, including drafting and negotiating documents, control of due diligence and disclosure exercises and closings, managing projects to a budget, and taking responsibility for client delivery and satisfaction.
- General corporate advisory work to provide continuing relationships with clients.
- Engaging in business development activities and being active in the promotion of the Firm and seeking opportunities for new work principally through (a) peer-to-peer relationship building within clients and intermediaries and (b) involvement in our key industry sector activities (consumer; industrials; pharma/healthcare) and (c) helping with pitch documentation and attending pitch meetings where appropriate.
- Working as part of a team including assisting with the supervision of junior lawyers’ work, and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience with the team.
Associates are given regular and direct contact with clients, with a culture based on associates being given the level of responsibility they are ready for, rather than a PQE based method of work allocation.
There are regular opportunities for secondments with clients and potential posting to other offices under the Firm's associate transfer programme.
Skills and Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with excellent academic credentials and will have:
- Current international and/or UK M&A experience in the corporate department of a leading firm
- First rate technical skills needed to support the client work of the department
- Commerciality
- Business development experience
- Excellent written communication and drafting skills
- Initiative and proactivity
- Maturity and gravitas

- Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and to take responsibility for this relationship
