Descrição e Requisitos
The Project Manager will lead all aspects of technology project management for the Firm’s most complex, enterprise‑level technology projects that involve cross‑functional teams, systems, vendors, and stakeholders.
The role‑holder will drive idea formation, project chartering, estimation, resource coordination, dependency management, milestone delivery, and project scheduling, and will play a critical role in building and managing strong business relationships.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage all project management-related activities
- Ensure all project deliverables are accomplished to meet the defined business requirements
- Motivate the performance of the project team and ensure scope is met, schedule adherence, task completion, and timely escalation management
- Report on project metrics, including success criteria, financials, milestones, resources, and overall project status
- Communicate all aspects of the project to Senior Management, the business, and across multiple technical departments
- Ensure Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) governance is followed to meet project objectives and mitigate risks and issues
- Research and apply the latest industry standards, tools, and techniques that will improve our overall project delivery
Skills and experience:
- A bachelor's degree with a focus on Information Technology or Business
- Some experience in project management, and experience in the legal industry is a plus
- Experience in managing Cloud migration and application integration projects
- Familiar with basic cloud computing architecture
- Experience in managing projects in a centralized Project Portfolio Management (PPM) system
- A PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
- Strong analytical, decision‑making, motivational, and prioritization skills
- Able to manage, escalate, and resolve project issues and risks
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, able to deliver professional presentations to all audiences virtually and in person
- Knowledge of the PMI lifecycle
- Experience in working in an Agile environment and familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Able to influence, interact, and consult with senior leaders regarding IT processes, guidelines, and compliance requirements
- Able to assess risk, take appropriate action, and escalate through the proper management channels
- Able to network and collaborate with regional and global teams, acknowledging cultural, social, and academic diversity
