职位描述与要求

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Intellectual Property (Patents & Trademarks) team, ideally a Law graduate with a strong interest or postgraduate training in Industrial Property.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

 

  • Law degree.
  • Postgraduate studies in Industrial Property (Patents & Trademarks) will be highly valued.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a law firm and/or official institutions related to Industrial Property.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and adaptable attitude.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal and external clients.
  • International exposure or mindset will be considered an asset.

 

By all means, all eligible applicants must:

  • Have a high level of English, both written and spoken.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers in the day-to-day management of trademark and patent portfolios, both at a local and international level.
  • Prepare and manage filings, renewals, oppositions, and other prosecution procedures before national and international IP offices.
  • Liaise with official institutions (e.g. patent and trademark offices) and external agents to ensure timely processing of matters.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines, ensuring compliance with all procedural requirements.
  • Conduct legal and administrative research in relation to Industrial Property matters.
  • Draft and review standard correspondence and documentation, including applications, reports, and client communications.
  • Maintain and update IP databases and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Support due diligence processes by reviewing IP portfolios and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and international offices on cross-border IP matters.
  • Provide general administrative and organisational support to ensure efficient case management.
  • Ensure all work is delivered with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and client service.
