The Billing Analyst is responsible for providing high-quality billing services to Baker McKenzie offices worldwide, ensuring accurate invoice preparation, compliance with Firm policies, and timely delivery of invoices to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, revise, and finalize invoices in accordance with Firm billing policies and procedures.
• Process time transfers, cost transfers, write-offs, and other billing adjustments as required.
• Manage assigned billing matters from initiation through completion, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Maintain and update client billing information, requirements, and billing instructions.
• Prioritize workload effectively, identify potential issues, and escalate exceptions when needed.
• Collaborate with Billing & Collections teams, Functional Leaders, Partners, Personal Assistants, and other stakeholders globally.
• Assist in identifying and resolving billing-related issues and support continuous process improvements.
• Analyze billing data and complex situations to support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Liberal Arts, or a related field preferred.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous billing experience preferred; experience in other Finance functions will also be considered.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global team environment.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and proactive approach to work.
• Confidence to raise questions and escalate issues appropriately when needed.
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to identify process efficiencies.
• Experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve productivity and support decision-making.
