For our HR team, we are looking for an enthusiastic Campus Recruiter to support our office in Amsterdam. In this role, you will make a real impact on attracting and engaging the next generation of talent.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and implement the campus recruitment strategy, aligned with the hiring needs of all Practice Groups, EMEA guidelines, and the Recruitment Manager, including selecting target universities and study associations for collaboration.
- Manage and execute the end-to-end recruitment process for interns (trainees), including application screening, interview coordination, and conducting interviews together with Practice Group stakeholders.
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment journey.
- Manage and maintain pipelines for interns (trainees) and Junior Associates across all Practice Groups.
- Coordinate and execute the social media strategy, ensuring timely and effective communication across relevant channels to enhance visibility and employer branding.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders (Practice Groups and Student internship committee /internship mentors) by:
- Maintaining structured stakeholder meetings to guide intern development toward Junior Associate pipelines,
- Providing clear, data-driven overviews of recruitment activities and pipelines, and
- Advising on hiring decisions in line with business goals.
- Track, analyse, and continuously improve recruitment activities throughout the year by monitoring data, reporting on campus events and ROI, managing pipeline performance, proactively identifying gaps in hiring plans, and developing innovative event concepts and candidate engagement formats.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the student community to attract top-tier talent in the Dutch market.
- Train internship mentors across Practice Groups to enhance their interviewing skills.
- Lead and guide the recruitment assistant in coordinating internal and external recruitment events.
- Contribute to the organisation of flagship events such as the Business Course (for civil law practices) and Tax Course (for tax practices).
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to ensure alignment on salaries, benchmarking, and employment agreements.
Technical skills, qualifications and experience
- MSc. Degree, most preferably within Law
- Preferably 1 year of experience in a Campus Recruitment role within a professional services organisation (ideally in a law firm)
- In-depth working knowledge
- Strong client service ethos and delivery focus
- Human-focused thinker with a commercial understanding and ability to translate business goals into recruitment priorities
- Excellent influencing and presentation skills
- Motivator and developer of people with strong communication skills
- Collaborative approach, effectively working with others to achieve team success
- Proficiency in written and verbal in both English and Dutch.
About the team
The Campus Recruiter position is part of our Talent team, which consists of three people. The Firm’s People Talent function has responsibility for recruiting, supporting and developing all of the Amsterdam’s workforce including our Partners, Associates and Professional & Business Services (PBS), working closely with the leadership to design and deliver the people strategy, building on the core commitments to collaboration, excellence and inclusivity.
