職務内容と応募要件

The Business Development Manager will act as a strategic business partner to office leadership and practice groups, helping drive client development, strengthen relationships, and deliver revenue-focused business development and marketing initiatives aligned with the Firm’s priorities. The role-holder requires a commercial, proactive and highly collaborative profile, capable of navigating a matrix environment and working effectively across local, regional and global teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with office leadership and practice groups to design and execute business development strategies that support growth and client engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, translating strategic priorities into actionable business development (BD) and marketing initiatives
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities and enable collaboration across practices and regions to maximize client value
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, client needs and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with regional and global BD teams to ensure alignment, consistency and leverage of best practices
  • Support a more data-driven approach to BD by leveraging market, client and pipeline insights

 

Pitches, Content & Campaigns

  • Lead and coordinate the development of RFP responses, pitches and client presentations, ensuring high-quality, tailored and compelling output
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of marketing materials (brochures, practice descriptions, lawyer bios and credentials)
  • Support the development and execution of thought leadership and client campaigns, working closely with lawyers to position the Firm in the market


Directories, Credentials & Knowledge

  • Drive the end-to-end process for directory and award submissions, working directly with partners to ensure strong positioning and timely delivery
  • Maintain and curate matter experience, deal lists and client intelligence, ensuring consistency and strategic use across BD materials

 

Profile Raising, Communications & Events

  • Work with BDMC and Communications teams to enhance the market profile of practices through media, PR and content
  • Identify and manage sponsorships, speaking opportunities and external profiling initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Oversee client-facing events, ensuring high-quality execution and clear business outcomes

 

Skills and experience:


  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Strong experience in business development or marketing within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
  • Proven experience delivering pitches, campaigns and client development initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Collaborative, proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
